Recreational Geometry is a site-specific hand-painted installation that spans a 13 foot tall, 29-foot long wall. Combining painting, found and repurposed materials, and free hanging, cut and painted canvas shapes, the installation brings layers of objects and pattern together to form a vibrant whole that balances a serious formalism with a playful indulgence in color and pattern.
